“Every schoolchild in Europe must become a news reporter if the EU is to defeat online disinformation.” (EU Commission) During the past two years, we faced the Covid pandemic as well as an “Infodemic: Disinformation in the Modern Age”. Teenagers need to develop the necessary tools to address this challenge. Teachers & students in Europe need to act as powerful lie detectors and critical thinkers to prevent disinformation.
