This project aims to develop collaborative activities in order to increase ocean /sea literacy by a transdisciplinary approach. Students will observe and learn about the physical and biological characteristics of their local marine environments, describe, represent and compare them to marine environments in other countries. They will also investigate and analyze the relationship and interchange between coast and hinterland. Particular attention will be given to education for sustainability, environmental protection and plastic reduction. The project intends also to approach the topic through literature.
