activities in Tielt - Belgium

  • After explain the causes of Climate Changes to our students, we tought about consequences (global and regional).

    And then we decided to be real scientist. In Flanders we get more and more floods because our towns are not green enough anymore. We have to much concrete, tarmac, tiles, ... We wanted to improve our school yard and think how we can make it more "green" and "water-friendly". But before doing this, as real scientist, we wanted to know how the situation in our school yard is. So we took part in the CitizenScience-project "Check de stadvergroening" made by TU Delft (some more explanation)
