Short description

In this project can take part kindergartens (teachers and preschool children) from all over the world. The organizer of the project is the kindergarten from Estonia, Tallinn (Tallinna Tammetõru Lasteaed) and kindergarten from Croatia (Dječji vrtić Hlapić Semeljci). The main goal of this project is to teach children to understand their culture and traditions, also understand and respect other cultures, traditions and languages. Throughout the project, teachers exchange experiences, share teaching materials and learn how preschool teachers from others countries teach preschool children. The project starts in October and will finish in April.

Goals

Project goals for children:

• The child understands more about him or her cultural background and traditions.
• The child knows about another country's cultures, traditions and languages.
• The child knows the name of his or her kindergarten and group.
• The child knows that in other countries children also attend kindergarten. The child has the idea of kindergartens in other countries.
• The child learn how to communicate with other people online using different programs.

Project goals for teachers:

• The teacher knows about another country's cultures, traditions and languages.
• Throughout the project, teachers exchange experiences, share teaching materials and learn about how preschool teachers from others countries teach preschool children.

Expected results

After this project we are planning to continue International relationships between kindergartens, exchange experiences, sharing teaching materials and methods. We are sure, that each participant of this project will find new friends from another countries and will get good impressions.
