Seafishient

Sustainable fish consumption was the theme chosen for the Seafishient project, with the aim of contributing to changing attitudes and behaviors in search of more solidary, socially fairer and more environmentally sustainable consumption patterns. We want this project to change the way consumers consume fish, that is, when buying or consuming at the restaurant, they think it is necessary to recover fish units under pressure and we need to think about the sustainability of our ocean Researchers are increasingly alerting to the need to guarantee the sustainability of marine ecosystems, to the management of fish stocks and to the concern about how we continue to feed ourselves with fish without conditioning future generations. This project also intends to promote the consumption of Aquaculture and canned fish that are healthy and smart choices for fish consumption.
