Being able to understand technology is of crucial importance, as educators need to prepare students for the future and equip them with all those skills and qualifications they will need in their future lives. There is a shift towards a technologically savvy workforce and that is required in classrooms as well.Moreover, the new demands in distance learning have created a new field on which teachers and students need to be trained. They need to develop a new understanding on how to use digital classrooms, web browsers, search engines, wiki, blogs, video/picture editing software, etc., to showcase learning. There is a vast amount of educational material available online and they need to be informed on e-safety and copyright issues, as well. This project aspires to help students and teachers discover new opportunities and tools in the digital world.
