Results and analysis

  • General feelings about the project

    Analysis

Most of the students (89 % of the answers) enjoyed the project.

The most liked activity was the Hour of logo, but the students also liked the Hour of challenges. These activities are the heart of the project, with coding and sharing with partners.

Less than half of the students would like to make another eTwinning project in the future.

    Coding

    Analysis

Students mostly feel that they improved in python coding.

With 71% and 76%, they learned that tkinter and turtle are two graphical modules.

They almost all know that import is the needed command to use a module.

They could make the difference between tkinter and turtle module quite well in general. Just the command pack(), used in tkinter module was not correctly answered (31%).

For the two specific commands, 84% answered correctly for create_rectangle() but only 32% for circle().

These results show that the students learned some basis on new module but still have to practice.
