    My students created "Mary Allen Wilkes" and "Grace Hopper" chatbot with Scratch for their "Hour of Code" events. We used the smart board in our classroom while working on Scratch. Therefore, my students did group work. They created the chatbots in both English and Turkish. We've added our chatbots to the collaborative "Hour of Code 2021 - chatbot" Scratch studio.

    The students were on a mission to save the Future.They travelled back to time with the Minecraft Education Edition - Hour of Code "Timecraft" and tried to solve mysterious mishaps.

    The students worked in teams and created ChatBots about Women in Science. We chose a simpler Scratch algorithm more suitable for their age. Some students also asked to add Alan Turing for more diversity.

    Activity 1 - Hour of Code: The eTwinners of the 8th PS of Nea Filadelfeia were divided into groups and created, using Scratch, chatbots-quizzes for Computer women scientists. They chose Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper, Gladys West, Karen Jones and Mary Allen Wilkes!

    Activity 2 - Hour of Code: The eTwinners of the 8th PS of Nea Filadelfeia played Minecraft Education Edition - Hour of Code "Timecraft". The students traveled back in time to save the future. They connected with great innovators and inventions in science, architecture, music and engineering. Rafael, a student of ST2 class, an expert in Minecraft, helped us all by teaching us how to play Minecraft!
