The project is based on a common and unifying theme, gender equality, a value shared by every European community since equality between women and men is one of the European Union's founding values. The four partners, according to a similar diagnosis based on respective analyses of children's school guidance choices and representations of their future, are faced with a similar issue : too many children leave the education system with insufficient training and very few opportunities to be employed, many girls have prejudicial ideas about gender roles incompatible with qualifying training and studies. Gender discriminations have a negative impact on children upbringing, school achievement , choice of studies, vocational training and employability. In the light of the four partners diagnosis , all schools are concerned with students' self limitation linked to gender representations, in study and career choices. Fighting gender discriminations and stereotypes at work in everyday life.
