Sustainable Development for Future is a project which aims at developing awareness of the students in terms of citizenship by searching and learning about politics,environmental issues,philosophy,society . Our students will think and share ideas on sustainable development of UNESCO.They organize exchanges in international teams and try to find solutions about these topics all together. We will hold online meetings to give a chance to our students to discuss each topic.They will also write short essays to analyze the situation related to the topic in their countries.They will also prepare some posters to reflect the common solution suggestions that they find with their friends. As a result of these studies,our students will take a critical look at the situations and they will be able to bring solutions for the society about sustainable development. We believe that our project activities will lead our students to have a better future as sustainable developments reaches a large social-wide, a large democratic-wide perspectives on gender equality,poverty reduction,true education….etc. We are also planning to support our students by inviting experts from universities and organizing online seminars on sustainable development goals of UNESCO. We will have 5 schools from Turkey,one school from Poland,one school from Spain and one school from Italy. As final production we are planning to prepare e-magazines consisting of our students soutions for the global problems each month and a virtual exhibition of the posters related to each topic of sustainable development goals of UNESCO at the end of all the project activities. There will be 8 schools and at least 15 students from each school. Our project will start in September 2021.We have an online ice breaking activty in order to give a chance for our students to get to know each other.They will also prepare their avatars on canva and introduce them briefly at twinspace.The teachers will also introduce themselves .The schools and cities will also be introduced on twinspace. We will also have an online teachers meeting to plan our activities.We will choose 8 of sustainable development goals of Unesco .Our students will study on these goals and search about them.Then they will work in internationals teams to disscuss these topics.They will think about the problems in their countries and try to find som solutions in order to overcome these problems.they they will write some short essays about these solutions and prepare an e-magazine or e-newspaper on them as a common work with the posters that they will prepare. We will also invite some experts from universities in order to support our students to understand the global issues better and to find effective solutions on these topics. Before the online meetings our students will search about these goals from the internet by giving importance to e-safety and copyright.They will also discuss these goals with their History and Geography Teachers at their schools. During these activities our students will make use of web 2.0 tools as much as possible like canva,genially,storyjumper….etc. In order to support communication and evaluation our students will use chatroom and forum pages at twinspace.
