The students of today are the adults of tomorrow. Our students will experience the effects of climate change in their lives. It is imperative for our students to learn how to live their lives with minimal long-term effects on the environment in order to counteract climate change and other environmental issues. We depend on biodiversity to keep us alive and healthy. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat and the medicines we take are all by-products of a healthy planet. During the next 24 months, the focus of our eTwinning project will be on making our students reflect on climate change raising their awareness on the imminent climate-related changes that are expected to challenge humanity in the coming years. Our students will be guided towards developing new attitudes and learning about and making environmentally responsible choices.
