My grandpa told me that when he was a little boy he was collecting post stamps. It was kinda weird for me because today so many people don't write letters so they don't need stamps. But... 50 years ago I guess everyone used to writing missives after war to be in touch with theirs family. Because of that you could find old stamps/ envelopes on street and take them home. To boot they were so beautiful! So when you found many, many stamps you bought an album and keep there your collection.
