Flying to the stars with Dante

“Consider your origin. You were not formed to live like brutes but to follow virtue and knowledge.” “From a little spark may burst a flame” - Dante Alighieri On the occasion of the 700 years from Dante’s death anniversary students from Italy and Greece will get to know the famous Italian poet, writer and philosopher who is considered the father of the Italian language. In the “Flying to the stars with Dante” project students, through the safe and creative use of technology, will discover the Italian writer comparing his work with myths and legends from Greece and while visiting virtually the places he travelled they will create an interactive geographical map. Our main goal is to help students understand that the virtues of mythical characters and heroes are universal and this specific period, more than ever, we can overcome the barriers and create bonds of friendship.
