ABOUT THE PROJECT

Stories and fairy tales are a way for children to understand real life and learn about values. Through them, they can express themselves in various ways. The idea is to give them that chance.

 

AIMS

Express themselves freely.

Acquaint different kind of stories.

Try different ways to show the fairy tale.

Get to know fairy tales from other countries and see the differences.

Be creative and enjoy themselves.

 

WORK PROCESS

Each month we choose a story or a fairy tale to deal and present it with our students, each time with a different way. Then, each one of us,we will show to our group of students one of the story that the other group presented and if we want we can also give feedback about how it seemed to us by sending perhaps a card or a picture. We will need of course a summary of the story,so that we can help our students to understand the story of the other country. Finally, on May/June we will try to make our very own fairy tale and present it. It can be a mingling of some of the fairy tales/ stories we have read or it can be our very own.

 

EXPECTED RESULTS

Children will learn in a fun way to understand a story/fairy tale, combine it with real life and find ways to present it. They will also have the chance to discover stories/fairy tales from other countries. Finally, they will appreciate the value of the stories/fairy tales and by extension the value of the book.
