I. UNITE
By the end of
1. October
we upload a presentation for our team / school to the project twin space, in the relevant for each country folder, on the relevant for each stage page.
2. November
we upload a video / Power Point/ etc. presentation for our country / region / town to the project twinspace, in the relevant for each country folder / on the relevant for each stage page. We also do the entry poll on What is a national toy for you? ( history and tradition / a souvenir / a symbol of the country / just a toy ) and fix the results on the relevant page.
II. RESEARCH
3. December
each school chooses a national folk toy, researches it in terms of origin / history / traditions / legends / songs / rhymes / interesting facts / etc.and uploads a Power point presentation with the information and illustrations about the chosen toy in the relevant for each country folder in the project, on the relevant page.
NOTE
Mind the diversity. The countries represented by one school and having several folk toys can choose as many toys as they wish. But the countries with two and more participants should contact each other and agree on what toy they will present so that our students learn the diversity and richness of the culures and traditions.
III. CREATE
4. January
we upload a short video of the process of creating the chosen toy and support it with photo/video / drawing / PPT / MSWord instructions.
5. February,
following the instructions, we experience the culture through making toys of other countries and upload the photos of the results.
6. March
Logo design contest at schools and on the Twinspace
IV. SHARE. REFLECT. EVALUATE.
