About World Environment Day

World Environment Day is the United Nations Day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. It is celebrated on 5th of June across the globe every year. The slogan of Environment say 2021 is "Reimagine, Recreate, Restore "

CURRICULAR INTEGRATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

1.E9.7.R1.Students will be able to ask and answer the questions about a text related to the world heritage.( As one of the main aim of the project is drawing attention to UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list of humanity, all activities in the project we emphasize the world heritage.)

2.9th grade Unit 4 Youth and values unit, The Role and Importance of Values in the Personal Development of Young People, and values such as respect for nature, avoiding waste (world water day), justice, love-respect, tolerance, sharing, cooperation and equality are UNESCO Intangible World Heritage considered in connection with

3.E7.9.W1. Students will be able to write short,simple messages about environment.

4.E7.9.R1. Students will be able to identify specificinformation in various texts about environment.

5.E7.10.L1. Students will be able to identify thediscussion topic about popular science in simpleoral texts.

6.Grade 9 “Acts sensitively to protect natural life.” world water day, world environment day etc. were associated with the project event.

About the Activity

Dear students,

Throughout our project, we have carried out many differen activities. With this activity, we aim at raising your awareness to be more responsible citizens. So far  we have celebrated Earth Day and World Water Day. Now, it is time to learn about the importance of our environment. 

We will make a common product for this activity. A genially will be created with the contributions of all partner schools. We will write our wishes on wish tree. We hope all of our wishes come true soon.

About Educational Webinars 

Dear Students, 

As our project has come to end, we want to make 2 webinars for you. These webinars will be about UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritages and World Environment Day. 

We would like to end our project with some detailed information for you so that you can have a chance to evaluate and review what you have experienced during the project. 

There will be a twinboard and you can add your photos and collages from the webinars. 

Our guests for the webinars will be from Azerbaijan and Turkey. We hope you enjoy the closing webinars.
