Opening foreign markets


A new era is approaching and local companies more than ever must reinvent themselves and look for new ways to grow, expand and look for new markets to be more competitive. The goal of this project is to set the students in a simulated situation in which they will have to create an effective strategy to contact other companies abroad and carry out a sales operation. This strategy will include a marketing plan to find out available opportunities in the target market and to identify the audience. Also the use of effective business communication focusing on email etiquette and negotiation skills in a video conference. In particular, Spanish participants from Navarre will have the challenge to enter their local products in Porto, and Portuguese students will take the role of local shops, restaurants and stores which will need to choose and buy the most appropiate products to make them available and successful among their clients.
