Brainstorming activity: before reading the teacher introduces the topic of the travel with a map. Students say all the words they can connect to the topic and then they try to guess what is the title of the book. They can imagine what the protagonist of the story will do in every country, what he can see and who he meets there. 

Teacher shows a Power Point Presentations with some information about every place visited by Gulliver. Students must create a map with all the places of Gulliver's travels.
