In this project,students of partner schools are going to get to know each other. They are going to take part in a quiz contest about countries ,nationalities,flags and worldwide celebrities. They are going to prepare imaginary countries,imaginary flags and an imaginary language for their imaginary countries.

Students will communicate, or share information, with people from other cultures and countries /cities. Students will understand that different countries/cultures have different customs, standards, languages,flags,climate,food,dressing styles. Students will improve their creative and artistic skills. Students will improve their knowledge about countries /nationalities.

1st week;students are going to get to know each other via Zoom meeting.
Each student is going to introduce himself/herself.
Partner schools’ students are going to introduce their country or city.

2nd week;partner schools’ students are going to prepare questions about countries,nationalities,flags and worldwide celebrities.
Partner schools’teachers are going to bring together students’ questions and prepare a quiz contest.
Partner schools are going to come together via Zoom meeting and have a quiz contest.
The winner of the quiz contest is going to be rewarded later.

3rd and 4th week;students are going to be given two weeks to create their own imaginary countries.They are going to find a name,draw a map,create an imaginary language and flag for their imaginary countries.Taking help of their teachers,they are going to prepare a video or a powerpoint presentation introducing their imaginary country.
Teachers are going to upload videos and powerpoint presentations of students on twinspace.

5th week;students are going to have a Zoom meeting.They are going to watch videos and powerpoint presentations of imaginary countries during this Zoom meeting.After watching all videos and presentations,each student is going to vote for selecting best imaginary country.The best imaginary country is going to be selected by students’ votes.

6th week;the winner of quiz contest and the owner of the best imaginary country will be rewarded by partner schools.

During this project,students' products will be uploaded on twinspace,so that all participants can see and comment on.
At the end of this project,we want to inspire our students and parents for new school projects by sharing our photos taken during activities and students' products on partner schools' websites and teacher's personal youtube channels.
