The world is changing but some things are still the same, like the way people see women as individuals and respect them as human beings. The UN Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres has stated that achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls is the unfinished business of our time, and the greatest human rights challenge in our world. Since the School's job is to promote equal opportunities and educate about the values of pluralism and equality between men and women, we decided to organize a project about gender equality. The main idea is to raise awareness about gender differentiation and to enable students with a place to think about the topic, discuss some ideas and express their opinion, having into consideration their personal and collective experiences. It should also be a place where they can develop interpersonal relationships, favourable to the exercise of autonomy, citizenship, sense of responsibility, cooperation, and solidarity.
