“HOT POTATO” is a project of collaborative work in which students from Italy (Sicily) and Spain (Catalonia) will exchange information about today’s reality in both countries, their life as teenagers, their region, their language and culture. They will be “special reporters” with the mission of collecting all kinds of pieces of news about their respective countries and designing a tv ad. Discovering, sharing and comparing knowledge about different cultural realities is a good way to make students interact, but also to broaden their minds. It also develops the communicative competence within all dimensions in the mother tongues and foreign languages; what’s more, it promotes digital competence through many tools and platforms, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and cultural conscience and expression.
