    Every nation in the world has a different food culture. The reason for this differentiation may be due to the boundaries imposed by the religions and beliefs of people and the plant and animal existence of the geography they live in.

    Food culture reflects a society's dietary lifestyle. The production, consumption, preparation of food is completely connected with traditions, beliefs and taboos that are elements of culture. While it is a physiological need for people to eat to feed their stomach, which food they prefer to satisfy this need, when and how they eat is a characteristic of culture. A food that is unpleasant and inedible in a society can adapt to the taste of people in other societies and can be loved very much, which is the different cultural characteristics of societies.

    In Ancient Egypt, meals were eaten sitting on the floor or on a chair, and fried poultry was especially used in their tables. While eating, dancing and having fun accompanied by music. When it comes to Ancient Greece, the first table of the day is set around noon, and dinners are almost like a feast. The fashion of those days is to eat while lying down or even lying down on a bed .  For this reason, beds are placed next to the tables instead of chairs. Romans have a very rich food and table culture. Food from all over the world is served in sumptuous tableware. For the Romans, food is an indispensable pleasure of life

    Throughout the history of humanity, food culture differs from society to society and takes shape according to the geography, religious beliefs, customs and traditions of the people they live in, and the lifestyle of the people they interact with over time.
