"Djuro Pilar" primary school

„Djuro Pilar“ is a primary school from Slavonski Brod, Croatia. It is situated in the Brodsko-Posavska County in eastern Croatia. It has 72 employees and about 500 pupils aged from 6-15. The scope of our work is primary education and in addition to our national curriculum we provide various additional activities for children including choir, theatre groups, sports, citizen education, first aid education and dance. We aim pioneer a positive model in cooperating with partners from the EU to other schools in our county and country. Our positive experiences have shown our pupils, parents and employees benefit from working in an project that ensures progressive teaching methods and approaches to social topics.
