Olympic heroes

  • As we are exploring the topic of Olimpic Heros this month we have an honour to be visited by special guest. Andrzej Stelmach was a professional volleyball player in Poland, 306 times he played as a Representative of Polish National Team an twice he played on the Olimpic Games. (Atlanta 1996 and Athens 2004). This month he visited our school to meet second graders. Students had a lot of questions and Andrzej Stelmach a lot of interesting stories to share. We had a chance to see original olimpic medals, mascots and listen to some unknown stories. I bet meeting such curious audience was more difficult than gaining As in service during Olimpic Games. It was a fantastic meeting.
