    3) April 2021, 8th graders: Media Literacy Days, deepfake videos

Our topic was a deepfake video. We reported our activity on the official webpage for Media Literacy Days in Croatia.
During distance teaching via MS Teams students watched some deepfake videos, they were encouraged to think and participate in the discussion (Riseup Pad) and made posters (PosterMyWall) with tips on how to recognize a deepfake video.

    Discussion topics:

    a) What is the intention of the creators of deepfake?
    b) Personal responsibility of creators and users of deepfake?
    c) Does the technology industry play a role in limiting the spread of deepfake?

The discussion was on Croatian language, but posters are on English.

    4) April 2021, 8th graders: Digital rights and AI

For this activity we used our poster "Digital Rights" and material "Unboxing Artificial Intelligence: 10 steps to protect Human Rights" (available on Croatian).
Students researched to find how human rights (especially digital rights) may be jeopardised by the wrong use of AI technology.
During our online lesson via MS Teams students collaborated on the Miro collaborative board, on students' mother tongue (Croatian language).
