Our School
We go to Bystrzejowice Primary School. It is in the east of Poland, near Lublin. It isn't a very big school. There are 312 students at our school.
Celebrating National Independence Day
National Independence Day is a public holiday in Poland celebrated every year on 11 November. It commemorates the anniversary of the restoration of Poland's sovereignty in 1918, after 123 years of partition by Russia, Prussia and Austria. It is celebrated as a nationwide holiday - people hang national flags, there are independence marches.
In our school we watched a performance, sang patriotic songs, and created white-and-red rosettes.
Our class (IVa) is just in the middle - great boys and only one girl :-)
