City Trails, Teen Ways

Teachers and students of the e-twinning partner schools work together, exchange profiles and ideas aiming at the creation of a link among their cities which will focus on daily life, cultural issues, geography and society. Promoting intercultural dialogue and sensitizing students on similarities and differences of their home towns and lifestyles will be the main concern of the project. Through the discussion of current issues affecting their countries individually or as members of the EU students will be sensitized and try to become active citizens in their own way. Through the collaboration with school partners from other European countries both national identity and European identity awareness are developed and the respect for diversity will be cultivated. The means to achieve our goal will be the English language and certain computer tools both of which will be used for presentation of ideas as well as for communication.
