    My first quizz

I learnt the word upcycle related to food, upcycling food. It was really interesting and quizzes are great! I will do some more, and you?

    Whales Conservation by Patricia Velázquez

    We learn that :
Shipping lanes can be especially deadly to whales as high speeds are allowed that do not allow for strike avoidance. Fishing practices can result in vertical fishing lines that result in the entanglement of large whales, this can lead to severe injury if not death. Climate change is also a major threat as it alters the life cycles of whale’s main food sources and can decrease overall productivity.

    Whales by Patricia Velázquez

While whales do consume quite a lot, they provide innumerable resources by acting as carbon sinks, nutrient cyclers, and a source of food for other animals and plants.
    (Quiz photo)

    Greenhouse gases by Hugo Restrepo.

    I learn that :
The Earth receives solar radiation from the sun. Passing through the atmosphere, some radiation is absorbed by the Earth, while some is reflected back to space. When the exchange of incoming and outgoing radiation occurs, some of the radiation becomes trapped by gases in the atmosphere. This creates a greenhouse effect and warms the planet.

    Climate change by Hugo Restrepo.

The majority of scientists agree that many of these effects are caused by human contribution to the greenhouse effect. Extreme weather events, droughts, heat waves and rising sea levels are already having devastating effects on the most vulnerable countries and communities.

    OCEANS AND PLASTIC POLLUTION

I've learned that we have to recycle, reuse and reutilize because the Earth is slowly dying because of our acts... We're not aware of how big this problem can be, so now is the moment, please, help the Earth, and save all environments where animals, plants and also us live.

Greenhouse effect by Yanire Lamela 3E

I have done 3 quizzes and I have learned a lot with them. I have found them very interesting and important, since they deal with important things. I really liked this activity!

Whale Conservation Quiz, by Paula González 3ºD

I've learned that whales are very important to the earth, because they function as carbon sinks and as a source of food for other animals. But people were hunting them without control until very recently, so most whale species are in danger of extinction.

Whales quizz by Gisela Mosqueira Cartier// IES Benalmádena

The fact that whales can help us fight against climate change and are still being killed is heartbreaking. They have a very high life expectancy (200 years), but we are causing its extinction because of our selfishness. We need to talk and care more about them. I've learned that we can save them reducing shipping, fishing and pollution. If we work together there won't be anymore animals like these suffering.

    Whale conservation quiz

    By Hermiina Hurmola 3A
From this quiz I learned a few new things about whales like that bowhead whales can live up to 200 years and that whales can provide positive effects on the climate change the longer they live, because they act as carbon sinks, nutrient cyclers and a source of food for other animals and plants.

Whale Consevation| Kyra Luaces De Fazio

I have done three quizzes in which I have learned many things about various topics that are important to know as they affect our planet.
With this quiz, for example, I have learned that although whales can help us fight against climate change and they continue to be killed.
We can do much more for our planet.

Protect our species by Eva Quesada

I just did the Quiz of "protect our species", and it was so shocking. I learned that climate change can affects the gender of sea turtles. It seems that sea turtle gender is determined by the temperature during fertilization, and warming trends could skew the balance of sea turtle offspring and future populations.
We have to protect our species!

Oceans and plastic pollution quiz by Eva Quesada

I did the oceans and plastic pollution quiz, and I learned that:
-There are 51 trillion microplastic particles in the ocean today, that is 500 times more than the number of stars in our galaxy.
-100 billion plastic grocery bags are throw away by Americans each year.
-On average, a plastic bag is 12 minutes used by a person before being throw away.
-About a 71% of the Earth is covered with water, and just a 2,5% is fresh water (thanks to all the plastic that we throw away)
We have to start caring about oceans and plastic pollution so hard.

Clean energy Quiz by Sofía Gutiérrez

I have done a few quizzes and this one, about clean energy, is the one with which I have learned the most. I have discovered many agreements and statistics on the use of renewable energy from many countries. In addition, I have learned some data about the impacts of burning fossil fuels. I think these quizzes are very interesting because they help raise awareness and deny false myths.

    My first quizz

My first quiz was very interesting, I have done it about deforestation and biodiversity, apart from being very fun, it has seemed a good way to learn about these things while having fun

Climate Change Quizz/ Paula Jiménez Viota 3ºE

I have done 4 quizzes and I have learned so much. For example I have learned the factors by which to fight against climate change. Also I have learned the percentage of the global greenhouse gas. I love learning about important things. I like this activity so much!

    Protect our species quiz/Lily-Rose Loez

I just did the quiz "protect our pecies" and I learned that human activities are dangerous for a lot of animals. The bee pollination is vital for us and our planet, and that climate change can affect the gender of sea turtle.

protect our species quiz by Maryam

I learned that humans creations and actions can affect a lot of animals. Many animals are killed by humans for their skin or tusks, like elephants. More than 100 are killed each day. Sea animals are also in danger because of boats and plastic pollutions.

    quizz: Change climate

I learned that there is a lot of pollution in the word especially in China. The majority of scientists say that global warming is mostly caused by humans
    Clarice Wojciak et Lola Masson

Quiz Climate change by Killian Maréchal

The majority of scientists say that global warming is mainly due to humans, because of greenhouse gases, these weather times are devastating with drought, heat waves and rising sea levels, deforestation, pollution and captivity.

quiz "protect our species" - Louna Bouchez

With this quiz, I learned many things. For example, I learned that the gender of sea turtles is determined by temperature of water during fertilization, and that climate change can affect the gender of sea turtles.
I also learned that over 100 elephants are killed every day for their ivory and tusks!
I also learned that microplastics can threaten the immune function, growth, and reproduction of marine species.
And I learned a sad thing, a many scientific evidence indicates that we are currently losing species rapidly and many extinctions are occurring every day.

Protect our species Quiz by Hétuin Célia.

We are now losing species at 1,000 at 10,000 times the normal rate. Recently, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reversed a ban on trophy imports for some African species and removed findings that gave broader permissions for importation. Warming temperatures can impact the gender of hatchlings. Warming trends could skew the balance of sea turtle offspring and future populations. Bee pollination is vital to maintaining life on our planet. Nearly 40% of the 11,000 different bird species on Earth are facing a significant decline. Ocean noise created by human activities puts marine species at risk and threatens their survival. An astounding 100 elephant are killed each day for their tusks to fuel the illegal ivory trade.

Quizz " Ocean and plastic polution" , Félicie Raso

In this quizz , I learned that waste in the ocean does never fully goes away , it just break into little piece , that waste is dangerous to marin animals because they mistake it for food and cannot digest it . Next , the majority of platic waste end in ocean, there are 8 millions tons of plastic in our océans every year and there are 51 trillion microplastic particles in the ocean today but there are many alternatives to single use plastic product .Also more than 693 marine species are harmed by plastic pollution . More than half of the breathable oxygen in the world from comes the ocean . Finally , by 2050 scientists predict plastic will trump fish in the ocean .

Ocean and plastic pollution by Yan Jaworski

Thanks to this quiz I learned that eight million tons of plastic are thrown into our oceans every year.I also learned that six hundred and ninety-three marine species are affected by plastic pollution .I also noticed that Americans only recycle nine percent of their plastic waste .There are fifty-one trillion micro plastic particles in the ocean today. Every day Americans use five hundred million plastic straws. On average, Americans throw away one hundred billion plastic grocery bags every year.

Oceans and plastic pollutions by mathis pytlinski

In this quiz I learned that many marine species are endangered because of plastic pollution in the oceans because sometimes they can eat plastic and it is not good for their digestion. This is not good for the digestion. There are 8 million tons of plastic are throw into our ocean every year.I noticed that americans recycle 9 percent of their plastic.

Quizz "Climate Change" - Léonie Dupont

I learned much things about Climate change with this quizz. For example I learned deforestation is the second leading cause of global warming, it contributes more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Also, I learned to save forest, you can reduce your use of products made from wood fiber including paper and cardboard for example. I learned tropics contain the most biodiversity and forests are home to about 80 % of terrestrial biodiversity too. The quizz was interesting because the cause of climate change is very important so it's important to know a lot of things about.

Oceans and Plastic Polution by Helen Batsila

    I learned that,
-8 million tons of plastic are dumbed in our oceans every year
-a plastic bag used by a person for only 12 minutes
-more than half of the breathable oxygen in the world comes from the oceans
-scientists think that in 2050 plastic will be more that dish in the oceans

Oceans and to plastic pollution (ioannis metaxarakis

8 million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year

    🐬Oceans and plastic pollution☁️ ~ Emma Stamati

At this quiz we tested our knowledge about the plastic pollution and personally I found it really interesting. I've learnt that over 7 million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year! More than half of the breathable oxygen in the world comes from the oceans🌊! And also than many countries have serious problems with plastic pollution! I think that some people don't know how serious the pollution problem to our planet is and don't pay much attention to recycling or keeping the environment clean! So we should try to do our best everyday to help our planet TOGETHER!

    Oceans and plastic pullution, Eva

I liked the quiz because I learned about the ocean and what happents when we don't throw our rubbish in the bins. Also I learned about recycling in USA, and how they protect the enviroment.

    Oceans and Plastic Pollution

I have learned that eight million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year and that 690 marine species are harmed by plastic pollution . Areti

    Climate change quiz (HELEN DROLIA)

I did the climate change quiz and I realized that I never heard before that electricity and heat production sector emits the larges percentage of globalgreenhouse gas emissions .

    Quiz (ANDRIANI MANOLAKOU)

I did the climate change quiz. It was really very interesting and I learnt that greenhouse gas emissions depend on wasting food.

quiz "protect our species" - Inès OUDNI

I learned a sad thing, a many scientific evidence indicates that we are currently losing species rapidly and many extinctions are occurring every day.

    Alyssa Strobbe
Ocean and plastic pollution, Bruna Gidaszewski

    In this quiz I learnt.
They are 51 trillion of microplatic particles in the ocean today. 100 billion plastic grocery bags are throw away by Americans each year. I've learnt that over 7 million tons of plastic are dumped in our oceans every year !

endangered species quiz by Laure-Lise Miroux

    I learnt :
the climate change affects the gender of sea turtles
the sounds from boats and sonar is dangerous for whales.

    quiz whales conservation of sheima

On the whale quiz I learned that the oldest whales could live up to 200 years. After the 1986 moratorium all commercial whaling has not stopped. The continents that continue to hunt whales commercially are Japan, Norway, and Iceland. Threats to whales such as blue whales, right whales and others are entanglement in fishing nets, collisions with high-speed ships, noise pollution in the ocean. Suspended plastics and global warming.

Oceans and plastic pollution ( Olga GR)

Plastic is responsible for the suffocation of many water species. Man is responsible for sea pollution. There are 51 trillion microplastic particles in the ocean today, that is 500 times more than the number of stars in our galaxy. People are not aware of lots of things unfortunately.
