The project "From European Volunteering to Global Solidarity", founded by 2 eTwinning schools from Romania and Turkey in September 2020, will allow a strategic partnership of pupils and teachers from different countries to embark on a new eTwinning journey and build an international team based on collaboration, communication and positive change. The younger generation of eTwinners aged between 14 and 17 years old, supported by their teachers, are the ones who will identify social, economic, educational, environmental needs or problems in their local communities and suggest ways to improve the situation, making their communities better places. Local events (including online activities) such as auctions, donations, sponsored sports events, handmade souvenir workshops and sales, artistic performances etc. will be organised in order to provide the materials necessary to implement the local solutions, the students being the only project members to handle any financial/material resources.
