International Maths Challenge 2.0 is a project born to share good practices in mathematics and geometry in primary school teaching and it is the natural continuation of the last year project International Maths challenge.
The core of the project is that maths should be taught in a more enjoyable way. It is not only memorizing method, but understanding and making sense of situations. The main aim is to create a mathematical mindset using an active approach to mathematics knowledge and to develop number sense. Increasing motivation and self confidence towards students' maths attitude is another important goal. The project want to encourage the use of collaborative and non competitive groups work. It will be a challenge due to school restrictions about COVID19.
