Final Project: Collaboratively rewrite a Shakespeare story with a twist and act it. Your performance will be filmed. First, we'll (re)introduce Shakespeare (his life and work). Then, we'll work on 3 different plots (not the plays yet): 1 from a tragedy, 1 comedy, 1 history play. We'll use various input (videos, adapted/children stories, songs, extracts from plays...). The students will work in international teams and will have to share their work in the Twinspace. We'll continue with assigning some iconic parts of the Shakespeare's plays to our students. They'll have to act them, and the students will guess what play it is (as they've learnt about each play thanks to their partners' work). The last part consist in rewriting the plays with a twist (add an environmental friendly twist" "show the dangers of fake news" "show the importance of tolerance/being a EU citizen" ...). All along this project, we'll have our students create quizzes, games and use the chat/forum to communicate.
