I.C. "De Amicis - Manzoni" - MASSAFRA (Italy)

  • The Istituto Comprensivo “De Amicis-Manzoni” is a Comprehensive school located in the historic centre of Massafra, in the province of Taranto, in the region Apulia (Southern Italy).

It is the oldest school of Massafra, as it exists since 1935 (in the beginning, only the primary school existed). It has grown during the next decades and is now organized into three sections:

    • A Kindergarten which holds children from 3 to 5 years old in the two buildings called “Pinocchio” and “Cappuccetto Rosso”.

    • A primary school with pupils aged from 6 to 10 years old in the “De Amicis” building.

    • A middle school with students aged from 11 to 13 years old in the “Manzoni” building.

This is the general timetable of our "traditional classes". It can slightly change from class to class, but the subjects are the same from the 1st year to the 3rd year of Middle school.
