Our project

  • We want to celebrate the European Day of Languages, on September 26th.

1/ You will ask each of your students to write ONE letter to ONE of the 20 countries in the project. (more IF other countries join later)

    20 students = 20 letters

If you have more than 20 students, several students will write to the same country, if you have less than 20, one student will write to two or more countries.

    2/ Letters should be sent around September 20th to arrive around the 26th;

    3/ In the letters,

the students should first write IN ENGLISH:

    - introduce themselves (name, age, hobbies ...)

    - speak about their school

    - speak about the city where they live

    Then, in THEIR MOTHER TONGUE:

    - write a common message that all the students from all the schools will write

Ex :  HAPPY EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES 2020 / UNITED IN DIVERSTY

    - decorate

A postcard will be added to each letter

Finally (and optional) add a QR code with a mp3 recorded message (thanks to the website VOCAROO)

Here I would need your help for ideas :

Would you prefer them to read their letters in English or to simply record the common message in their mother tongue or both?

ONCE RECEIVED, ALL THE LETTERS AND POSTCARDS WILL BE USED FOR A SCHOOL EXHIBITION, AND WE WILL UPLOAD PHOTOS ON THE TWINSPACE.

IF AFTER SOME OF YOU WANT TO DEVELOP THE PROJECT (which was not my idea first) WE CAN SEE HOW LATER?
