    „The breakfast gives strength”

    in primary school in Sarnów.

The students of the first A and the third A classes from the primary school in Sarnów together with their form teachers joined the so called: “The breakfast gives strength” programme. According to the idea of this programme our pupils began preparing their healthy lunch on the 6th of November at ten o’clock. They haven’t forgotten about the fact to wash their hands before making it. Knowing how important the consumption of healthy breakfast is the students have brought many types of vegetables, different kinds of cheese, some slices of ham, some sausages and wholegrain bread to prepare the breakfast which was made by themselves. The “culinary masterpieces” were created from the products. The sandwiches had eyes, noses, moustache and even hair. The sandwiches made by the children took different shapes, there were: hearts or Christmas trees. Our students demonstrated their creativity and originality. In the project our school nurse also accompanied us who reminded everybody of the healthy pyramid. She emphasized the role of lunch in our normal development. What’s more the school nurse has praised the children for bringing only healthy products to school this day. The breakfast prepared either by themselves or together with their peers tasted delicious. That’s why all the sandwiches disappeared in the wink of an eye.
