No Enemies Violence - Equal Rights

One of the main features of European culture is pluralism, which otherwise might be called - the multiplicity in unity. With the aim of keeping all the valuable traditions, we need a common concern for the opposition to the problem of intolerance and social exclusion. Our goal is to develop activities, working methods that will build the attitude of openness and tolerance to wide-range differences (resulting from culture, religion, financial status, disability, gender, older age), to counteract prejudices, xenophobia. We want to build social dialogue between different groups and prevent early school leaving. Lack of openness in the school environment leads to: reduction of young people’s creativity, suppression of individuality; formation of the atmosphere of risk, fear of manifesting individuality in behavior; aggressive behavior of individuals or groups; social isolation; fear of being different, social and mental ostracism. The students’ attitude of intolerance can be transferred into their adult life in a multicultural Europe. Unifying cultural patterns often causes fear of "outsiders", "others" - because of skin color, language or different customs. It also implies the fear of losing our identity and traditions. Such anxiety is reinforced by a variety of prejudices, stereotypes. Knowledge of other cultures cannot be gained only theoretically. The best way to get to know and understand different traditions, views is a direct meeting.
