1.Modern World in the Eyes of Children is a project intended for young people who would like to share their opinions about modern world and its problems and who would like to tell about their problems and concerns. Students are going to prepare a short play which they are going to perform and then record and publish in TwinSpace.

2. Aims:
- to learn about problems and their vision of the world
- to share their opinions and reflections with children from other countries
- playing the theater: writing a script, creating stage design, making costumes
- using different theatrical techniques and methods of acting
- working in groups, learning how to co-operate efficiently
- making students aware of their self-confidence, togetherness and joint responsibility

3.In every school there are going to be the following activities done:
October: the presentation of the school and the city
November: creating and recording a short play entitled Modern World in the Eyes of Children
December: the summary of the project and the displays in schools

The project gives the children the opportunity to act as if they were involved in making a real theatrical play. They will use their imagination to create on¬stage props, costumes, to tell their personal stories and write their own scripts. The plays will be published in TwinSpace. Teachers will keep in touch by sending e¬mails to each other. Students will use Internet forum (message board). The video¬conference will be organized.

4.Each group will make a short play and then record it. Students will be using different acting techniques and theatrical methods. They will also be able to present their final work at schools.
