    Padlet: Food Additives

     

    The aim of this content is to share an open padlet in which you can add and read information about food additives.

    It contains information about several additives allowed in Europe and its origin and category as well as its toxicity and products where they can be found.

    This project started in November 2021 by the students of 3ºESO in order to be conscious of what some of the current sold products can contain and to consider whether they are making good in our diet. Anyway it is opened to new information about the topic.

    Vitamins and natural food supplements - our thoughts on the topic ... in Bulgaria

    The importance of vitamins and natural food supplements is determined by the need for the human body to acquire the necessary substances for the normal functioning of all important physiological processes and biochemical reactions in it.

    Their chemical structure also determines their essential role and importance. They are necessary for the absorption of nutrients and proper metabolism, are involved in the process of growth and recovery, increase the body's resistance and immunity, support the renewal of blood cells, etc.

    Vitamins are usually provided by eating a varied diet that includes products from all food groups: meat, fish, legumes, dairy products, vegetables, fruits and nuts.
