This is a cooperative measurement activity of non standard units.
Giraffes are 4-5 metres tall. So, we have to measure with our own materials how tall she is.
Rules of the activity:
- Female giraffes can be up to 4,5m. So, we measure a distance of 4,5metres. You can cut a rope of this length, or draw a Zarafa that big (just kidding). Put it on the floor and think of measurement units.
- We will have a video conference just to meet at 11 in the morning, Greece time (10:00 CET)
- After introducing and saying hello, our activity will start. We have to find different units like shoes, kids, markers
- When finishing a task, we take a photo and we write down our results on a titanpad document.
- With the titanpad, all the participants can write in real time. I will give you the link and we will connect together
- Once a unit - material is used, you cannot add it again,, You have to come up with something else.
- The game will end with the conference at 11:30
- Have a nice time!!!!!!!!!
- Don't forget the photos
