Cordoba CF is the best team in our city. Its colours are white and green. It was founded in 1954. The stadium is known as the "Nuevo Arcangel". In the 2014-2015 season we were in Elite Division. Also at the start of each match the teams anthem is sung by everyone at the stadium. In the past this outstanding team was in a pinch economically speaking, but thanks to an offer from an arab millionaire Cordoba CF was bought and saved from bankruptcy. But not all was bad, Cordoba CF was, after more than 40 years without playing in the Elite division, playing again at a professional level with the bigger teams to show them what they were made of.

To people from Cordoba snails are very known and tasty, however, the rest of the world think that they can be quite disgusting. Snails can be eaten in our city during the whole spring in different stands around the city. In any neighbourhood you can find plenty of them. You can eat snails in tables that you can find there, or even you can take out them.

    Arabic Baths

In 1930, when two brothers found hydraulic structures damaged, they decided to rebuild them. Then, they founded their own establishment of Arabic baths and hostelry.
These baths have three different water rooms: a template one (36ºC), a hot one (40ºC) and a cold one (15ºC). This combination of temperatures stimulates our circulatory system. What is more, during your visit, you can have a relaxing massage with aromatic oils.

    Good weather and terraces

Cordoba is famous for its good weather, especially in spring season and at the end of the summer, when temperatures are less extreme. This sunny weather gives us the possibility not only to enjoy walking along the streets but also to have some cold drinks sitting in the terraces. We love spending time hanging out with our friends in those places, and we find it very enjoyable.

    Jewish Quarter

In Augustus Era the Jewish quarter started to get organised and urbanised.
After the muslim conquest in 711, it was still a relevant place due to all the public buildings located within. But Jewish people were not living there yet, and they will not start to reside there until the Christian late medieval period.
The Jewish quarter is located between Almodóvar’s Arch, the Mosque and the Episcopal Palace, in the heart of the historic center. It is a labyrinth of narrow streets that don’t follow any pattern. It is an area declared a World Heritage Site.
In the heart of the quarter you can find the famous “Calleja de las flores”. It is known because of colourful flowers that decorate the white walls of this short street.

It is almost 300 meters.
