Pupils in Muuruvesi School, Finland, got trees to plant
On the last school day, 5 June 2021, every pupil in Muuruvesi School got a little tree to plant. The local newspaper Koillis-Savo wrote 17 June (p 16):
MHY (Forest Management Association) donated plants
(shortened translation)
The parents organisation in Muuruvesi School decided to bring joy for the pupils and give them plants of trees. The plants were donated by the local Forest Management Association. The pupils took the plants home with them and started their summer holiday. Kaapo hadn't decided yet where to plant his tree, but Tuure already knew that he would plant it in an area where the wood had just been felled and that needed replanting.
