The project focuses on improving the four language skills of students and increasing the success and awareness of the
students in English language learning classes. The project includes planned activities to supply opportunities for the
students to reach these targets. The targets are similar to the 2020 Educational targets of the European Reference Framework.
The 2018 Council Recommendation on a comprehensive approach to the teaching and learning of languages outlines the
current challenges and proposes an action plan aimed at:
•Boosting language learning by focusing on reaching specific competence levels,
•Introducing the concept of language awareness in education and training,
•Ensuring that more language teachers benefit from opportunities to learn and study abroad; •Identifying and promoting
innovative, inclusive, and multilingual pedagogic, using European tools and platforms such as the School Education Gateway and e-twinning.
GOALS:
* To create an A1-A2 level English lesson timetable including 2 different activities each month which can be used in all
European countries;
* To prepare ready and experienced English lesson materials and activities for English teachers;
* To increase the level of the students from A1 to A2 with the materials and activities they produce while creating
materials for other teachers;
* To make English lesson enjoyable for their own students and for other students who use these materials and activities during the lessons;
*To produce an e-book (and a printed version) including all English lessons materials and games;
*To produce card games and board games related to English lessons and hold a performance in English based on a script written by the students;
*To compare and contrast all 5 countries curriculum and their English teaching styles and create a report about them;
*To show English teachers that every place can be converted into a suitable environment for students to learn English.

09-2020
BRAINSTORMING-
The teachers will form their project team of students. Every partner will choose 20 students according to the criteria. The students will be informed about the project. All schools will hang a signboard of informing the public about our project. All schools will do brainstorming about the activity table with the project team. The ideas will be recorded by the teachers.
The partners will open social media accounts of the project and during the project, they will be responsible for these social media accounts.
1.Kastamonu Science and Art Center -for Website and YouTube Channel.
2. Greek school - for the Facebook page and Facebook group.
3.The Polish school - for the Instagram page.
4.The Italian school is responsible for the Pinterest account.
5.Yenişehir Belediyesi Science and Art Center is responsible for running the e-twinning project with the coordinator school. They will also supervise all activities.
10-2020
All schools will create a logo and a poster. They will upload their proposals on the twin space of the project.
The coordinator will organise a logo and poster competition. The competition will be online. The coordinator will use web 2 tools to organise the competition. The competition will be open to the public.
Students, families, teachers of all partner countries will vote for the competition. The best logo and poster will be announced after the voting section.
All countries will prepare their curriculum and examine it with the project teams. They have to examine their textbooks, too.
The teachers check their duties and their activity table ideas and they will get ready for the first meeting.
The winner logo and poster will be uploaded on twin space. Every school will share their textbook and their curriculum on twinspace . Bulgaria will supervise other countries' preparations.
11.2020
Students online Meetings - chats and live meetings
Outdoor lessons - partners will organise and share outdoor English lessons. Each partner will try out one of the other partners activity.
Voting for best activities/lessons (teachers). These activities will be put in an online magazine to be shared with the public.
Students active participation in eTwinning - forums discussions
12.2020
English with technology- It lasts one month. A webinar with all schools and all students will be oragnised. Students will meet each other online. Students will also have the chance of practising English online.
All partner schools will send new year postcards each other and they will share online post cards on twinspace. In this way, students will learn about different traditions celebrated by each partner school.
Kastamonu Science and Art Center will control other countries' preparations.
