Environmental sustainability project and fight against waste from March to May. It is not easy or obvious to talk about the environment at school. The theme of the environment and the problems related to its defense is a daily ground of debate on numerous levels and is now part of the common sentiment; it is such, therefore the abundance of inputs on these issues that it is often difficult to choose where to start and how to move to start an environmental education project with pupils. The project aims to raise awareness of primary school pupils to protect the environment, introducing them to the concept of ecological footprint. Today the school has, among its objectives, to be an engine of change to encourage the birth and development of an environmental awareness among children, in accordance with the commitments that the 193 UN member countries have signed in Agenda for sustainable development 2030, in the Sustainability Education Plan. The children will thus discover that the actions of all of us have an impact on the health of the Earth.
