In his Utopia the humanist Thomas Morus contrasted social and institutional realities of his time with those of an ideal community. 500 years later, in a technically developped and globalized world, young people still are preoccupied with the issues of a fair society. In this project, they will discuss values and rules, wishes and responsibilities - using ideas of European philosophers and artists as stimuli for their own discussion and in this way develop both a better understanding of the cultural heritage and an increased consciousness of chances and challenges of active citizenship.
