Five countries, including Turkey, Portugal, Italy, Poland and the UK have been brought together to create a Virtual Classroom project over a 24-month period. The aim is that the participants, students and teachers, will develop their ICT skills in a joint cooperation, and in so doing, learn how technology can be used effectively as an educational tool and, as a secondary aim, to encourage students to use technology in a positive way that benefits educational attainment, using social media sites, or other platforms, such as Edmondo, Kahoot, WordArt, Pixton, among others, with the express purposes of weaning students away from some of the negative effects of internet addiction.
