(eg: just say why you think it is important, give examples of what it might happen if you don't watch these rules, explain situations you have gone through....)

The word netiquette is a combination of ’net’ (from internet) and ’etiquette’. It means respecting other users’ views and displaying common courtesy when posting your views to online discussion groups.

    1. Be polite and treat others politely

    2. Don' t use all caps, it is like shouting

    3. Think before you write. These are people who are going to read what you have written.

    4. Try not to make too many mistakes. It' s very difficult for the others to understand what you want to say.

    5. Use emoticons to convey your feelings, eg. :) for happy, :p for joking etc. It' s very easy for someone on the internet to misunderstand you.

    6. Don' t copy paste what you find on the Internet. Write your own simple texts with the information that you find.

    7. Use images and sounds that are copyright free. Otherwise, it is like stealing them if you just download them without the owner' s permission.
