Time is changing, the economy is changing and also education is changing. One of the biggest influences on the world which is forcing changes is digitization. Digitization means that we are transferring analog data into digital ones. This is usually combined with easy access and also with good usability. Nevertheless, it is also connected to the field of mathematics and this means that today mathematics is becoming more important. This does not mean that mathematics was not important in former times, but, in a few year's data analysis, programming will be a part of everybody's daily life and will have an effect on it. STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) which is also sometimes called MINT (mathematics, computing, science, technology) is also getting more important and this is also connected to the world of mathematics.
