EASTER TRADITIONS IN ITALY

             

 

PORTUGAL

 

Easter traditions are families are together. They eat lamb cakes stuffed with chorizo, beef, ham…and also almonds.

 

Easter is celebrated with the whole family. We eat goat or lamb for lunch and at dinner we eat the whats left. After dinner the parents offer us almonds or Easter eggs.

 

 

People eat sugor almonds at Easter.  At lunch people eat lamb or goat.  People give Easter lggsto ot hers.  People go to mass on Easter Sunday.  They eat a lot of chocolate eggs.

 

 

At Easter we usually eat as a family, and we usually eat goat or lamb which is tradition in our land. Easter is celebrated because Jesus Christ resurrected. It is also tradition to go to mass in the morning on Easter Sunday and in the afternoon to go for a walk with the family.
