    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

    Teaching communication skills in individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism is very important in terms of gaining receptive and expressive language skills, developing effective listening, gaining self-confidence, socializing and facilitating social acceptance. In addition to various methods and techniques, various materials are used to gain communication skills. Listening comprehension materials is one of the materials used to gain communication skills.

    Listening comprehension materials; It improves the listening skills of the individual, increases the concentration, allows the individual to express, is a prerequisite for understanding what he reads.In order to support individuals' communication skills, develop their self-confidence, attention and perception skills, receptive and expressive skills, effective listening, and contribute to social acceptance of their socialization; Every month for seven months, 3 listening comprehension material will be made and applied.The texts start with a sentence, the number of sentences will increase according to the performance of the student. Material will be photographed by the student's own photographs.At the end of the project a set of listening comprehension materials will be obtained.

    WORKING PROCESS:

    PREPARATION PROCESS

    Joint search (use of E Twinning desktop joint search forums), idea development, joint project planning, project creation, project registration, project acceptance by National Agencies .

    APPLICATION PROCESS

    Listening comprehension texts will be prepared for each participant school for 7 months according to students' performance levels. The texts start with a sentence, the number of sentences will increase according to the performance of the student. Material will be photographed by the student's own photographs.At the end of the project a set of listening comprehension materials will be obtained.

    The students of all participating schools develop their communication skills.

    Students develop receptive language skills by listening to texts.
    Students develop expressive language skills by answering questions.
    The student's motivation for learning increases.
