    Monday, November 04th -  Welcoming activities at school

    ** Welcome Cerimony: Headmistress speech; every member from each team present themselves. Greece students perform traditional music Musical.

    ** Guided visit in host school facilities. It was an opportunity to understand how Greek school lworks and Greek students learn.

     

     

    **Visit to the City of Komotini  - cultural heritage of the hosting country - ‘Sharing the roots and finding common European heritage’.

    A cultural tour of the town together with the pupils (Folklore museum, Sword Monument, The Clock tower, Imaret, Church of Panagia, the Byzantine wall the Annunciation Church and other sights).  

    ** Students presentation on the topic: “Traditional dishes”: Students learned about the traditional recipes through the presentations prepared by each country.

    All recipes were gathered by students who worked in international groups and organized a common international cookbook. They published it on this platform.

    ** “Rocks and minerals” – All teams presented types of rocks used in their national monuments according to the architectural style. Students visited the Rocks and Mineral Exhibition organized by the host school. An e-book was created by students who worked in international teams and published this platform.

    Tuesday, November 5th

    ** Visit to the Saint Nikolas monastery at Porto Lagos, the folklore museum of Ksanthi and a guided tour to Ksanthi to see historical buildings - cultural heritage of the hosting country - ‘Sharing the roots and finding common European heritage’.

    *Saint Nikolas monastery at Porto Lagos- The great religious and historical value, the rich monastic heritage and the natural beauty that surrounds it in the biotope of Lake Vistonida make it attracts many pilgrims ratings.

    * Folklore museum of Ksanthi

    Wednesday, March 6th -

     Excursion to Maroneia and the ancient theater :

    Theater historical play - all teams visited and learnt about the ancient theater of Maroneia where pupils gathered in international teams and presented a scene from Greek historical play “Birds”.

    ** Lanche- In the traditional restaurant, traditional desserts were presented, and the method of preparation was explained.

    17:30: Visit to Thrilorio village to enter the basketry museum. Magnificent cultural treasure, exhibiting hundreds of rare and unique baskets from the Peninsula of Haemus/Balkan Peninsula (Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia, Albania) as well as other continents.

    **Workshop "Chemistry in the kitchen" - a local refugee association held the workshop. Students learned to prepare and cooked popular local pastries.

    Thursday, November 7th

    **Visit to Filippi (archaeological site), in Kavala, Frourio,  in order to collect information  to organize the Project's common product: a Brochure Achieve+.

    Friday, November 8th

    Students acquired basic vocabulary of partners´ national languages when they completed the common mini multilingual dictionary.

    Students created a common padlet to share their experiences/learning/expectations during mobility and published them.

    Czech Republic Present - Workshop “IT in evaluation: Methods and Tools” - Teachers shared new approaches to project assessment and students'.

    Bulgaria -Workshop “Students with learning difficulties”

    Teachers learnt some techniques and strategies which to cope with students with learning disorders.

    Project meeting –Participants discussed strategies to create, publish and evaluate main products/results and ensure project sustainability.

    **Erasmus party with a lot of Greek food - the food was prepared by the parents and offered to the participants.
