BIOGRAPHY

Part 1 – Early Life and School Life

Madonna was born in Michigan,USA on August 16, 1958.Her father’s name is Tony and her mother’s name is Madonna too. Tony worked as an engineer designer.Madonna had the same name with her mother, so family members called her "Little Nonni". She has two elder brothers, Anthony and Martin , and three younger siblings, Paula ,Christopher , and Melanie

Her mother died from breast cancer when she was 5. After her death, she was always scared to lose her father too. In 1966, Tony married the family's housekeeper Joan Gustafson; they had two children,At this point Madonna developed a rebellious attitude. She attended a Catholic Elementary School, and West Middle School. Madonna was known for her high grades but achieved notoriety for her unconventional behavior.’’I didn't wear make-up like normal girls do. But I studied and I got good grades.... I wanted to be somebody’’

Madonna later attended Rochester Adams High School. After graduating, she received a dance scholarship to the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and attended the American Dance Festival over the summer. She convinced her father to let her  take ballet lessons
